NCT DREAM is a unit that debuted with only members under 20 years old. NCT DREAM has 7 fixed members with a member rotation system, meaning that NCT DREAM can make a comeback and carry out activities with a lesser formation, for example performing without Mark and Haechan.

The motto of this unit is to provide encouragement to the dreams of their peers and a ‘healer’ to the fans. Before the system change was announced on April 14, 2020, the concept of NCT DREAM was a member rotation with NCT members only under the age of 20, then if they passed the age limit, a graduation system would be implemented. Mark is the only member who had graduated and return after the system change.

  Mark officially “graduated” from NCT DREAM because he has turned 20 years old. Thus, Mark will no longer promote with the unit.

• 200414 RELOAD : NO GRADUATION SYSTEM

  SM announced that the graduation system would be abolished and Mark would resume promotions with NCT DREAM. The unit was declared as a fixed unit, with no member changes. Mark officially resumed his activities with NCT DREAM through NCT DREAM’s first full-length album, “Hot Sauce.”

• 260408 MARK CONCLUDE THE EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT

  After a long period of careful and thoughtful discussion regarding MARK’s future activities, MARK and SM have mutually agreed to conclude his exclusive contract as of April 8. MARK will conclude all activities as a member of NCT, including NCT 127 and NCT DREAM.
