The work is set in 17th century England, where class discrimination was severe, and through the life of Gwynplaine, who has the face of a horrifying monster but retains his innocence, it criticizes the world where social justice and humanity have collapsed, and deeply sheds light on the values ​​of human dignity and equality. a sensual young man with an indelible smile and who works as a clown in a traveling theater troupe, is played by Park Eun-tae, Lee Seok-hoon, Kyuhyun, and Doyoung.
